Iași, June 17, 2026 – Now in its fifth edition, the UniCredit Iași Open, a WTA 250 tournament, continues to strengthen its position as the most important women's clay-court event not only in Romania, but also in this part of Europe. Between July 12 and 19, the clay courts of the Ciric Sports Complex will become the center of women's tennis. The tournament attracts top names from the professional circuit and provides an excellent platform for the next generation of talent to shine.
The stakes are high both in terms of WTA ranking points and prize money: this year's edition offers a total prize pool of $283,347 and features an extremely competitive main draw.
Mercedes-Benz has entered into a long-term partnership with the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), effective January 1, 2026. Under this agreement, Mercedes-Benz becomes the Premier Partner and Exclusive Automotive Partner of the WTA.
